This page is dedicated to my brother, Master Sergeant Robert Mark Horrigan, who died in Iraq on June 17, 2005.

My brother was honored by Keye 42 News Austin in this broadcast on Memorial Day, May 28, 2007 entitled Austin Area Man Builds Memorial for Brother Killed in Iraq.

Keye 42 News Austin followed up their initial broadcast on Veterans Day, November 11, 2009 entitled A Central Texas Man's Mission to Remember Veterans.

In addition, on Veterans Day of 2008, FOX 26 News Houston traveled to Austin and Marble Falls to report on how the death of my brother compelled the members of my family to “creatively move on” in a special broadcast entitled Remembering Those that Died for Us.

Operation Honor Our Heroes is an organization that was inspired by my brother’s death. The website honors the memory of "all fallen heroes" of The United States Armed Forces.

In honor of my brother's life, I've constructed a memorial in his name and in the name of all Texans who died in Iraq and Afghanistan defending our freedom. As funds are made available, the names of those killed in the terrorist attack at Fort Hood, Texas on November 5, 2009 will be included.

Each name is engraved in granite and placed before a wall erected in their honor. The wall extends the full length of my property along Pillow Road for all to experience.

This bronze sculpture sits atop my mailbox to the left of the memorial wall. In an effort to deal with the lost of my brother, I found an ability to sculpt. This was my first piece. I call it Christ Soldier. To see more of my sculptures, click here.
